Save your Life!

Jesus Christ warned that before His return, His Church would become spiritually sleepy. Matthew 25:1-10. God is trying  to waken us up, because He does not want His people  to suffer the awful pain of the coming Tribulation, Matthew 24:21-22, ‘For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved [alive]. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.’ That 7 year Tribulation is now almost here, near enough that some of us will likely enter it.

It will come upon us because of our evil choices, our rejection of God’s laws. How many of us, for example,  can say we even try to keep the Ten Commandments? Very, very few, and  we even parade with pride , or enjoy the parade of  blatant perversions,  and accept as normal the killing of millions of our unborn.

So now God is making us aware  that He can deliver punishment, and we have been given just a  foretaste with the CORONA virus, but it hasn’t sunk in, because we have become so far from God. He may try again before the Tribulation, as what the Bible calls “the beginning of sorrows” , Matthew 24:8 , but God will also miraculously warn each one of us personally, of our need to repent, for His Kingdom is coming soon and a time of judgement during the Tribulation. That message will be delivered by an Angel, to the amazement of the world, Revelation 14: 6-7, ‘Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth–to every nation, tribe, language and people. He said in a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water.”‘

Don’t ever say you weren’t warned – you don’t need to risk your life by ignoring God’s warnings. Just turn from evil and begin to keep God’s Laws, for if you break them they will eventually break you. Keep them and you will receive peace, prosperity and joy.

Have you noticed that the two nations who have suffered most from Covid 19 deaths are Britain and the US, the two nations that have led the way in abortion , murder, pornography and perversion, but no-one puts 2 and 2 together, so see what God will add to them next, though the faithful within them will be protected and preserved.

So, God is pleading with you, change your ways to His, don’t place your life at risk!

COVID 19’s Strange Behavior

I’m sure many of you saw TV news pictures of crowds in Asian countries re-acting to the threat of COVID 19 by fleeing en-masse to their home countries,  providing an ideal scenario for the virus to spread to their homelands. I was not alone in suggesting that this would result in huge death statistics, but it did not happen.

Instead, it has been in the US, Britain and Italy that we have seen the rapid spread of this plague, despite their best efforts, and Asia and the Third World has  (So far) been spared  the expected results.

That could change, but it is still remarkable that the US,  Britain and Italy  have been hit so much harder, while closely related nations to Britain,  Australia and New Zealand, have seen much lower death rates. Does the Bible provide a reason?

Long ago God chose one man to be the father of a nation which would be His example to the world. That man was Abraham, and the nation was Israel. Do not confuse Israel with the Jews, who are just one of the 12 tribes of Israel.

God fulfilled all the promises he made to Abraham and his descendants Israel, which split from the Jews. As promised, it became the single great nation and a company of nations, Genesis 35:10-11,  ‘And God said to him, “Your name is Jacob; no longer shall your name be called Jacob, but Israel shall be your name.” So he called his name Israel. And God said to him, “I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply. A nation and a company of nations shall come from you, and kings shall come from your own body.’

And Genesis 48:19-20, ‘But his father said, “Son, I know what I am doing. It’s true that Manasseh’s family will someday become a great nation. But Ephraim will be even greater than Manasseh, because his descendants will become many great nations.” CEV.

While God fulfilled His promises to Abraham, Israel failed  to provide the example God expected and required, and so He has gradually been taking away His blessings because of the evil choices and rejection of God’s Laws the US and UK have made. Only the company of nations (British Commonwealth) have not followed Britain so deeply down the path of homosexuality, abortion, drugs and violence.

Italy led the whole Protestant world into breaking God’s Commandment about the 7th day Sabbath.

Justice requires that further punishment can be expected with no repentance;  that COVID-19 is just the start, but the whole wold is also guilty, so the rest of the nations will not escape, though individually we can be protected, if we will personally repent.
