Cry aloud and Spare Not!

Jesus Christ said that He came to set family members against each other ( Matthew 10:35-36), that they would become enemies.

How could this occur? It happens when God opens the mind of one family member  to His word, but not the rest. That family member then recognises the sin in society, unrecognised by others in their family, and is regarded as a bigot for believing, for example, that the homosexual agenda pushed by our biased socialist media, is evil, that the lionisation  of gay pride, homosexual marriage, and gender confusion is shameful, wrong and destructive to a nation.

The fact is that like the frog that stays in hot water until it dies, much of society has been gradually brainwashed into believing that human rights are more important than God’s Laws.

So, millions of babies are aborted, criminals go free while their their victims are jailed, evil murderers take a few years holiday in jail, liberal elites would have us remove our borders and destroy our national identity, Christians are made criminals for believing that which has been recognised as evil for thousands of years is not to be accepted, but spoken out against. It will reach the point where Christians are not just hated, but killed for their beliefs. Matthew 24:9, “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.”

But those who hate them are not aware that they speak out because terrible punishment lies ahead for our nations  because of our sins. Matthew 24:21-22,  ‘For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again. If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.’   They speak out because they don’t want to see that suffering, that people may repent and be spared.  Isaiah 24:6, ‘Therefore a curse consumes the earth; its people must bear their guilt. Therefore earth’s inhabitants are burned up, and very few are left.’ NIV.

Aboriginal Delusions

For some time now government funded SBS  Television has concluded its programmes with an “acknowledgement of country” in a show of respect for the ‘traditional owners’ of the land on which their programmes are made.

We have also seen an increasing number of ‘smoking ceremonies’ performed by aboriginal elders, and now government departments are being encouraged to say an acknowledgement of  ownership of “country” at the start of a meeting, speech, or formal occasion.

It is not surprising that SBS has pushed this along; after all it is the supporter of all politically correct identity groups, most of whom deserve no support whatever, but it is a symptom of the way that the atheist left is all the time ratcheting up its evil grip on society, by pushing perverse propaganda upon the nation. A lie told often enough becomes accepted.

Why is this evil? Because  it is just one more step in separating and dividing aboriginals  from the rest of Australian society, a kind of reverse apartheid, which has resulted in large parts of Australia (Now almost half) being passed over into the control of less than 3% of the total population.   The rest of Australians  then have to apply for permission to enter “Their country” and maybe even have to pay to pass through. It is frankly quite ridiculous, and it will only get worse until they claim the whole of the continent.

Aboriginals did NOT own this continent before the First Fleet came. God did. Exodus 19:5, ‘Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession among all peoples, for all the earth is mine.‘ Psalm 50:10-11, ‘For every beast of the forest is mine, the cattle on a thousand hills.’ And 60:6, ‘God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.’

God raises nations and brings down empires, and gives them to whoever He wills. The aboriginals lived in darkness, superstition and ignorance for ‘60,000’ years, merely roaming over the land,  living off  God’s bounty in a stone age way of life. The First Fleet, despite its tragic mistakes typical of that age, eventually allowed the aboriginals to be given entry into civilisation with all its advantages and benefits but most refuse to recognise that they would not have gained access to them without the help of the ‘invasion’.

Instead  they are still glorifying their previous primitive lifestyle and our society is silly enough to encourage them, with the abysmal sad result of violence, child abuse, syphilis, and idleness all to common where their culture is still dominant.

Those who escape their culture  can and do go on to become prosperous  and successful, because they have integrated into Australian society,  and it is this that we should be encouraging, not the opposite, which will continue to divide the nation.

THE TIME IS COMING  WHEN THESE MISTAKES WILL BE PUT RIGHT,  for Jesus Christ is to return and establish His Kingdom. Aboriginal people will be given equal rights and responsibilities as all other Australians – no inferior or superior treatment. True religion will replace the dreamtime and true education will replace the evil  propaganda of our atheist left dominated media, ‘ his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth.’ Zechariah 9:10.

WHY Britain’s Troubles?

Parliament is in chaos and confusion. People don’t know what is going on, and no longer trust their politicians to carry out their wishes, and it looks like Britain may crash out of the EU with no deal, bringing who knows what?

All this in little more than a lifetime since the sun never set on the greatest Empire the world has ever seen, led by the world’s most powerful nation! Queen Victoria would never believe it!

Actually,  ‘British’ is Hebrew for ‘Covenant Man’, ‘Britain’ Hebrew for ‘Covenant Land’, because they were promised their Empire by God, for their ancestor Abraham’s righteousness. They were to carry God’s laws and God’s ways to the nations. They did so for a while, which is why Christianity is found worldwide, but Charles Darwin, with Satan’s now failed ‘Theory of Evolution’,  undermined their belief and faith. Soon, even the Church of England lost its congregations and the whole nation began its downward spiral into lawlessness, perversions, and foreign ways imported by millions of foreign immigrants, especially under Blair and Brown.

As a result, God began to take away the blessings He had given – peace, prosperity, its great institutions in health and education; and its public services began to crumble, overwhelmed by the many who had never contributed to them. Britain became almost unrecognisable to its visiting ex-pats, so full is it of immorality, violence, foreign religion and terrorism, and ridden with drugs and drink. Only the countryside remained much the same.

God knows that it will take war,  defeat and captivity to bring the British to repentance and the recognition of their sins.

Brexit will bring Britain begging to Germany for help, but they will be invaded instead. Hosea 5:13, ‘When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah his wound, then Ephraim went to Assyria, and sent to the great king. But he is not able to cure you or heal your wound.’  Isaiah 10:5-6, ‘Woe to Assyria, the rod of my anger; the staff in their hands is my fury.  Against a godless nation I send him, and against the people of my wrath I command him, to take spoil and seize plunder, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.’

Jeremiah 31:8-9  speaks of God’s promise to re-gather the nations descended from Israel, after their captivity, slavery and repentance, after Jesus Christ’s return.  ‘Behold, I will bring them from the land of the north and gather them from the farthest parts of the earth, including the blind and the lame, expectant mothers and women in labor. They will return as a great assembly! They will come with weeping, and by their supplication I will lead them; I will make them walk beside streams of waters, on a level path where they will not stumble. For I am Israel’s Father, and Ephraim is My firstborn.”

Ephraim is Britain, and the nations who came from it, Canada, Australia and NewZealand. Ephraim was Abraham’s great, great, grandson. These nations may not fall quite so quickly, for they are  behind Britain in their depravity but catching up in their homosexuality, gender  confusion, abortions, and rejection of God’s Laws.

All of us in Ephraim need to consider our future in the light of these scriptures. None of us are without sin.  All of us need to turn from our wrong ways to gain eternal life, through Jesus Christ’s sacrifice, or eventually face the Lake of Fire.

A God Plane Relationship

I understood the picture God provides of marriage almost 50 years ago, but only in the last few months after the loss of my wife of 52 years, have I maybe fully realised the meaning and deep significance of the scriptures in the Bible about the sacred institution of marriage, eg. Genesis 2:24, ‘Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.’

The words are simple enough, and we thank God for the creative act that perpetuates the human race, but its deeper significance eluded me until I experienced overwhelming grief. (See the last but one blog). The nearest thing I could compare it to would perhaps be a ‘panic attack’, where I felt such loss that it seemed a huge part of me had been torn away, leaving me gasping for breath, with rapid panting.

Truly, we had become one flesh in a much deeper way than I could possibly have imagined, as I tried to adjust to the loss and seeming emptiness.

The realisation that a man and a woman can become ‘one’ like that, is important, for Jesus Christ said He and His Father are similarly ‘one’, and that He will marry those who have been true Christians after their resurrection, before His Father’s Throne in heaven.

Then,  Christ and His Bride all also become  ‘one’,  with all that that means for mankind’s awesome future.  The results  will reveal the complex nature of God’s Plan for mankind, making my previous understanding of marriage seem very shallow indeed, and I look forward to writing about its detail in an article for this website.

 

Satan’s Pride in His Deception of Humanity

What is the purpose of this blog?  Well, basically it is to survey the news and then use it to help people see that God is working out His plan for humanity, whether they be Christians, Muslims or whatever.

The fact is that for almost 6000 years God has allowed Satan to be the ‘god of this world’ so that we can learn, if necessary the hard way, that His Way is the only way to bring peace, prosperity and happiness to all mankind, ‘2 Corinthians 4:4, ‘In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.’

Satan has the whole world deceived, including virtually all ‘Christianity’, so it is hardly surprising that his most successful diversion, Islam, destroys more human lives, causes more war, famine and suffering children, than any other religion.

As they watch the news, do Muslims not wonder why their own countries are so plagued with violence, murder, starvation and destruction that their people set out to migrate to ‘Christian’ lands? Do they not wonder why they must hide from the Koran’s violent instructions, so enjoyed by the ‘extremists’, when all they desire is a peaceful, God fearing life?   Ah – but which God?

Some claim that they have learned the whole Koran off by heart. If so, they especially will be without excuse when, on Judgement Day, which we will all face, they are told by Satan, Surah 14:22, “Satan  will [then] say God gave you a true promise. I too made promises but they were false ones: I had no power over you except to call you, and you responded to my call, so do not blame me yourselves.  I cannot help you  nor can you help me. I reject the way you associated me with God before. For wrongdoers there must be a Grievous Penalty.”

Such is Satan’s arrogance and pride in his successful deception of the Muslims to worship him, that he brags about it in his own false book! Why don’t they see it?  But then, why don’t most ‘Christians’ follow the teaching  of Jesus Christ?

Broken Heart Syndrome

It was interesting this week to learn from TV that we can indeed die from a broken heart. It seems that “heartbreak” significantly increases the risk of dying from a broken heart, especially in the first 30 days after a loved one dies, and the doctors now have a word for it, a Japanese word, “taktsubo  cardiomyopathy”, heartbreak syndrome, which has many of the symptoms of a heart attack brought on by the grief one can feel.

I can well believe it, because my wife of 52 years of happy marriage died recently, and having previous experienced a heart attack, I recognised some of the same symptoms in my grief. Actually, it did not surprise me, for I have long known  that in a close marriage the two lifelong partners become “one flesh”, Genesis 2:24, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.’ Consequently, with such a great loss, the one remaining can feel like there is a huge hole in ones own body – as though you are not fully there, for you have lost a part of yourself! Medical Science has now caught up, that if one succumbs to heartbreak completely, it can kill you!

I found the solution was to gradually concentrate on all the happy memories, and on the promise Christians have that, in a resurrection we will be re-united with our loved ones, as we arise from the sleep which is death. Giving oneself over fully to grief can lead to despair, and Christians have great hope in the future, and a calling and purpose which still remains, and helps us to avoid a broken heart.

About Christianity’s Tragic Loss

I’m back, once again in harness, and anxious to continue God’s urgent work as the daily news gets a little worse each day, and our world succumbs to Satans evil influence.

According to God’s word, Christians are sleepwalking into the coming Tribulation, the worst time of trouble this world has ever seen,  Matthew 24:21, ‘For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now–and never to be equaled again.’ NIV.  This terror will come upon us  because of man’s sins, and so bad will it be that, after the seven years of the Tribulation, there will be few people left alive.  ‘Therefore a curse consumes the earth; its people must bear their guilt. Therefore earth’s inhabitants are burned up, and very few are left.’ Isaiah 24:6.

Jesus Christ explains that Christians are too lukewarm and sleepy to notice, much less take action, and so will miss out of the First Resurrection and the Millennium. Revelation 3:15-16,  ‘I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other. So, because you are lukewarm–neither hot nor cold–I am about to spit you out of my mouth.’

Suspending Blog and Updates

Dear  readers,

Sadly I have to suspend writing of now, because  my wife has become  ill with a serious brain problem which has placed her in hospital as she is unable to walk unassisted . Tests are on going. Lynne has always been healthy, so it was a shock, even though she is in her 70’s. We would appreciate  your prayers, and I will update.

Wednesday 6th June

Scans reveal brain tumours, which have not spread elsewhere. She is in no pain but is losing memory, and will undergo a brain biopsy on Friday. There is risk in this operation due to serious possible  side effects. Thank you for your prayers, brothers and sisters around the world.

Friday 8th June

Lynne’s biopsy operation has been postponed due to serious emergency admissions, with the results due back onThursday. She  remains quite calm and optimistic, if a little confused. Thank you for your concern.

Friday15th June

Lynne’s biopsy was carried out on Wednesday, and although the detailed report will take a while,  the preliminary report is very serious, indicating an inoperative situation. Lynne has recovered now and is walking with my support, is less confused, and smiling again. As always we are in God’s hands and know He has promised to heal. Please keep up the prayers.  I will update when I know more.

Saturday 23rd  June

Dear All,

 Yesterday , Lynne and I, with our two sons, Marcus and Gaius, met with the doctor advisors   for a report on the results of the biopsy operation, which were discussed in detail by the team last night. The brain tumour is the highest grade aggressive tumour, grade four. It and several smaller tumours are inoperable and all they can do is stabilise lynne to “inhibit development deficits”. This would involve some radiation therapy which could slow down further damage. Without that , their prognosis was for only a few weeks of life, though at the moment Lynne is in no pain and has  only lost some control of her legs.
While they will go ahead to arrange that treatment, Lynne and I hope to go home for a week together while we consider what to do. It is clear that only God can heal this, so please pray that God will grant us the faith required, and that He might extend His mercy towards us, as He did for Hezekiah.

Wednesday 4th  July
Today Lynne and I were in Perth to arrange her treatment, which will start in 2 weeks,  to stabilise the brain tumour. Tomorrow we return home. The treatment will use radio therapy to slow down the tumour, which cannot be removed and is taking away her mobility. Only God can do that and we place that on His broad shoulders, thanking everyone for their prayers.  Lynne and Gerald.
Tuesday 31stJuly
After three of the radiation treatment sessions Lynne found the dizziness and nausea anything but stabilising, and as it was never expected to provide a cure, which is in God’s hands, she asked me to take her home. Lynne is much happier here  and the nausea has almost gone and the dizziness is subsiding. Truely there is no place like home when you are ill, and Lynne finds much comfort sitting in the conservatory where she is surrounded by the garden  and can watch the birds and butterflies. We and very many people are praying for her healing , and I thank them all.   Gerald.
Monday  August 27th.
Strangely, I have almost been afraid to report on lynne’s happy progress in case it was just an anomaly, but having just returned from our daily walk up the road with her only holding my  arm, rather than in a wheelchair, I must tell you that her progress back towards normality has recently  been astounding! God has begun to restore the Lynne we all love – her confusion almost gone, her mind much clearer, her ability to do things like simple food preparation or make a cup of tea, etc, restored.

Her voice has returned to normal, whereas it had become almost a whisper, she can balance again and walk independently for  short distances instead of only a slow shuffle, with help. The dizziness and nausea she experienced has gone and, unlike all the other patients in the brain tumour ward, Lynne never experienced any pain or need for pain suppressants, thanks be to God. She feels she has been given a second chance at life by God and despite outliving the medics’ prognostications, based upon the very worst kind of aggressive brain tumours, she has even begun to remember how to type, and never lost her long term memory, never ceasing to praise God for His mercy towards us as His wayward children.
At this rate, I wonder if we will really need the help the palliative care programme has just started to provide, and I look forward to writing an account for the website of what we have learned from this traumatic experience, as Lynne continues to improve.
Thank you all for your loving concern and prayers – I am convinced that without that support we may not have seen this ongoing miracle!

Thursday 25 October.
Our trail became more complex when Lynne had several consecutive seizures, caused by the tumours, in effect adding up to a stroke, which took away much of her memory and her ability to balance  and walk.  She is stable now and in a hospice but we are working to bring her home, with the support of caring services. Unless The Lord intervenes again  we have been told Lynne  has only months remaining.  Lynne and Gerald.
Saturday 17th November
Sadly I have to report that my dear wife Lynne passed away last Friday evening, the 9th of November. She was my wife of 52 years , and the mother of my two sons, Marcus and Gaius.  She was a peaceful and inspiring woman, my darling,  and will be sorely missed, not least for her input to this ministry and the Church of God. I thank all of you for your prayers and support. Know that she will rest in peace until the First Resurrection. I hope to resume normal contributions to this website very soon.  Ozwitness.

Blowing The Trumpet of alarm

I’ve been writing about the threat to Western civilisation brought about by Satan’s hatred of its Judao-Christian heritage, and his growing influence through political correctness, which is the exact antipathy of God’s Laws.

I was in Paris in the mid 60’s when the streets were taken over by students rioting against capitalism, who were faced with black garbed, armed riot police, the first I had ever seen, and not afraid to wield their batons indiscriminately in order to counter their ‘cultural revolution’ based on Mao’s little red book.

That revolution , viciously put down in Paris, was taken up by students internationally, but those students went on to become the  university academics of today, determined to overthrow capitalism by following the doctrines of the Frankfurt School, and they have been successful, way beyond their dreams, within the world’s universities, so that eventually political correctness has become immune to criticism, even here in Australia.

But now Merve Benale of James Cook University is just one of a few academics who admit that the disintegration of Western culture is caused by “An idealogical contagion of shame and self-loathing” and an “Nihilistic world view is now institutionalised throughout Western academia.”

Indeed, it seems our universities can’t get enough of foreign civilisations, religions and cultures – founding courses on the “Leadership in the study of the intellectual, legal, politico economic cultural and religious traditions of Asia and the Islamic world.” While these courses proliferate, our propaganda fed students are led to rebel against the very idea that such courses should be balanced by a study of Western Civilisation, which brought about the end of slavery (still well established in the Islamic world), gave women the vote (only very recently achieved in many Islamic lands) and legal equality with men (never achieved in Islam).  While freedom of enquiry and expression is the norm in the West it is still not found in much of the Asian and Islamic world, where human rights and liberty are strictly limited.

I’m sure that not many of us would want to live in such societies, but these duped students are blinded to their faults and can’y wait to pull down the last vestiges of Western Civilisation, and they are being aided by our biblically rebellious clerics who take delight in undermining the Christian faith by denying the veracity of scripture.

What a world we live in! One could almost give up hope were it not for the vision of the coming Kingdom of God on Jesus Christ’s return.   Proverbs 29:18,  ‘Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.’

Only then will the  world be renewed, and true education will remove the dross dished out by these deluded academics. Sadly this will not come until the world has learned the hard way to reject political correctness, the antipathy of God’s law. This is called repentance, but it will only be achieved after the most severe worldwide punishment, which the bible calls the Great Tribulation.         Matthew 24:21 ‘For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be.’

Radical Left Strikes Again

Is there no end to the left’s denigration of our free and law abiding society, based on reason, Christian morality, democracy,  respect for private property and the dignity of the individual?

Thankfully, that end is coming, when the instigator of these politically correct ideas is thrown into the bottomless pit for 1000 years, Revelation 20: 1-3, ‘Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the bottomless pita and a great chain. And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while.’  The looney left, I would imagine, will quickly learn, if they still exist!

Unfortunately, we are now plagued with these naive dupes who slavishly follow Satan’s suggestions, written down and promoted back in the 1930’s by the Frankfurt School. (Read our article ‘Satan’s Political Correctness’).

We see that predictable denigration arise again in response to a planned undergraduate course at the Australian National University which would bring about the study of Western civilisation and would be sponsored by the Ramsey Centre for Western Civilisation, Chaired by John Howard, supported by Kim Beazley and Tony Abbott, all emminent, sensible Australian leaders.

What do those miseducated dupes think is so evil about the civilisation that allows them the freedom to speak out about their delusions, when such criticism in socialist and communist nations would quickly lead to their disappearance? They fail to see that Western civilisation, built upon the bedrock of Judeo-Christianity, is the foundation of our whole political and legal system which permits such freedoms. Instead, they would have us follow the failed communist path to a mythical socialist utopia with all its oppression and disregard for human dignity, where their looney left criticisms would bring only removal from society .

It is to be hoped that the ANU authorities are not influenced by these dupes, but if they are, they will deserve their financially failing reputation and hopefully there are one or two other Australian Universities still not quite taken over by the diabolical plan of the Frankfurt school, who can see that despite its faults,  successful Western Civilisation bears no comparison with those based on Islam, Communism, or other equally false beliefs.
