Waken Up Australia!

The recent attack on  Christians in Sri Lanka is but one of many constantly taking place around the world, especially in the Middle East, where now many Christians  have fled. Behind each and every attack lies Islam, and our politicians stick their heads in the sand. It is not an accident that the only free, stable, democratic country in the sea of violence there, is the one which is constantly attacked in our universities and in our left wing media,  Israel.

We don’t see Islamic Presidents or ayatollahs doing a Jacinda  Ardern public penance on behalf of their national faith though , do we? Why are such facts totally ignored by our Western leaders, except sometimes President Trump,  for most of them are too busy apologising for any offence to Muslims to have time to differentiate between the many Islamic refugees and the Christians driven from their homes, despite the proven danger of Islamic immigration.

Indeed, in many ‘multicultural’ Western nations, legislation is being passed which will prohibit any recognition that Islam is responsible for most of the world’s violence. Such a suggestion would then become  ‘Hate Speech’ and in Britain one politician has already been arrested after making a speech which quoted  Winston Churchill’s observations of the effects of Islam  on society:    “No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytising faith”,  wrote Churchill.

The arrested politician later commented on the lack of free speech in Britain, “to show the rest of the world how utterly sunk this poor old country of Britain is today,”  he said.

It is acknowledged that Australia walks the same path as Britain, but just a few years later; however what is not acknowledged is the very real danger to theWest of refusing to even discuss this subject. As a result,  it is only a matter of time before the next attack upon Australians, and we will only have ourselves to blame for electing politicians more concerned with apologising than protecting the nation.

Isaiah 9:16  ‘For the leaders of the people have misled them. They have led them down the path of destruction.’  NLT.

The End of Truth and Justice

Truth and justice are disappearing from our land under a grotesque hate campaign from the activist left supported by a fifth column  in our national broadcaster the ABC and our universities, and it is being paid for by our taxes!

Their weapon is political correctness, which is driven by the atheistic left wing, and their target is our Western Christian heritage. They have no qualms about using lies and misleading information to attack any conservative politicians whose views are not ‘progressive’, ie. those based upon traditional Christian values.

They are successfully undermining academic freedom of speech and thought in our universities, controlling  the discussion  and education on topics such as  global warming, Western Civilisation, aboriginal affairs , our history, –  all have to be according to their dogma, if they are allowed to be taught or heard.

Their power is such that students, and indeed listeners to the ABC and SBS are continually fed bias information which provides a false and often perverse view of society and morality.  News and current affairs programs are often stacked with left wing  panellists and presenters, and supposedly independent activist groups such as  ‘Get Up’ push their left leaning propaganda.

You only have look at one of our ex- Prime Ministers who actually had some genuine moral standards, and the backbone to back them uo – Tony Abbott, to whom we owe our secure borders, to see how successful they have been at character assassination, in the hope of driving him from parliament.

Why is this happening in Western countries such as Australia? Because when we reject  the eternal moral standards intrinsic in the 10 Commandments, we are left standing on the shifting sands of political correctness. Our firm foundation is lost, soon good and evil are reversed, and the innocent become guilty.

You are seeing it happen before your eyes throughout the West – the very nations God chose to disseminate His Laws to the nations, way back at the time of Abraham, and we only have ourselves to blame!

“How terrible it will be for those who call evil good and good evil, who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness, who substitute what is bitter for what is sweet and what is sweet for what is bitter!” ………      “those who make people sin with words, those who lay traps for judges, those who, without any reason, deny justice to people who are in the right.”                  Isaiah 5:20 and Isaiah 29:21.

Israel Folau’s Persecution

The controversial comments made by the Australian Football League celebrity have stirred up  a hornet’s nest of politically correct idolaters,  incandescent in their fury that anyone should dare speak out about their religious beliefs!

We should note that the man was simply responding to a question asked of him on social media, and he must have realised that in his position, it would go viral and cause him problems which he has experienced before.

The fact that Israel has the courage to put his beliefs before his huge income, and it is the protesters who have the problem, not Folau, for he has said that God rather than the AFL has the priority in his life, and he is obviously prepared to pay the penalty.  Jesus said: ‘If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you.’ John15:19-20. Sadly it seems that free speech is no longer so free.

OK, so he could have framed his responce more diplomatically, and more accurately, for biblically  he should have said ‘Lake of Fire’ rather than ‘Hell’ but it adds up to much the same thing. If sinners do not repent, and we all sin, the Bible states that is our fate. Tough.

We all have to choose, and the Bible tells us what is right and what is wrong, so in the end, it is the protesters who are making the big mistake. Folau is not a fanatic. He just recognises that God’s word does not change with political correctness.It still says that the wages of sin is eternal death, unless we repent.

No More Politicians

Around the world politicians are seen as self- interested elites corrupted by greed, political correctness and a desire to be part of a global caste which lives in a bubble isolated from , as Hillary put it, ‘the deplorables’. There are but a few exceptions who look for a conviction politician to lead them back to their true role as representatives of the people.

That they can stray so far from that role is summed up in the British Parliament where from day one of the Brexit fiasco the majority of politicians insisted that they knew better than the people, and refused to carry out their voted instructions, and have brought about  the epic confusion that has most Britons in despair.

For this to occur in the mother of all parliaments is a signal that good government will never be attained by our own choice. Many years ago a crusty old history teacher told his 6th form in a Civics lesson that the only good form of government is that of a benevolent despot!

Later I came to realise that he was correct. The world’s governments are in for a big change. First the world will fall to a powerful dictatorship under a Biblically prophesied ‘Beast’.  This will, after Armageddon,  be replaced by a system of government which will bring true peace, prosperity and equality to nations worldwide.

It will be the government  of an Eternal Benevolent Despot, who will need  no politicians, for He is training a group who will share in that worldwide government with Him, who fully understand that their role is to serve, just as their Example did. That Example is Jesus Christ, and his Kingdom will spread from Jerusalem to cover the whole world.

Isaiah 2:3-4, ”And many peoples will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD,  to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us His ways so that we may walk in His paths.” For the law will go forth from Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. Then He will judge between the nations and arbitrate for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will no longer take up the sword against nation, nor train anymore for war.”

Satan’s Identity Politics

Now we have had chance to digest the horrific Christchurch shooting,  it has become clear that the terrorist’s goal was to bring about a reaction against ‘white terrorism’ in the hope that whites would recognise the hatred of the Left, which was the aim of Pauline Hanson’s motion in the Senate last year, affirming that, “It’s OK to be white.”

It was illuminating then to see the gullibility of the Senators, who after indignantly flaunting their political correctness, voted it down!

Her point was made by the simple truth of her short motion. We would then see the self hatred of the Leftist Identity Politics, for being white is just one politically correct notion apparent in programs such as the ABC Radio National’s Minefield episode “Wrong to be White”, where deluded academics from Sydney University and Deakin University endorsed the depreciation of “whiteness”.  If it were blackness, they would have been sacked and run out of town!

Perhaps not many people would have recognised her action  for what it revealed, but she was making a brave point. The West is on all sides being attacked by atheist left wing activists determined to  bring down the destruction of Western Christian civilisation, the unknowing dupes of Satan the Devil.

‘But I fear that somehow your pure and undivided devotion to Christ will be corrupted, just as Eve was deceived by the cunning ways of the serpent.’  2 Corinthians 11:3  ‘so that Satan will not outsmart us. For we are familiar with his evil schemes.’  2 Corinthians 2:11.

No Right of Return

Australian is now faced with Islamic State women such as Zehra Duman wanting  to return to Australia, like many others now pleading  to return to the West, to its relative peace and prosperity which, in the good times for IS, they rejected in favour of the evil,  harshness and beheading of the Caliphate.

Of course the bleeding hearts would have them and their murderous husbands back amongst us, but should they?

When they went, they despised  our Christian derived culture with its Western values and were eager to join the expanding Caliphate, where they could expect respect, power and dominion over the defeated and abused populations. Have they changed their beliefs? Not at all. They will never renounce that which inspires them.

Last year an Australian/American consultation found that 3 things  made these terrorists interconnected, worldwide: “The flow of foreign fighters, the flow of resources, and their message.”

These are the connective tissue of terrorism, which the consultation said would need to be cut. ‘Resources’  include all those who make a contribution to the social and idealogical infrastructure of IS .

Their husbands, if not dead, are still largely in jail but would love to return. Their wives and children are their supporting resources, who, by their presence in the war zone with IS, were also active in a war against Australia and Western values. Their message has not changed and we should remember  that for years we had to endure the charade that their bombing, shooting and killing inflicted upon us had nothing to do with their message.

What was their message? In politically correct terms it is Islamism. In truth it is the Koran, and if you were to read it you would find it is a book of great contradictions. The Jihadis  choose to follow its very many violent instructions about killing disbelievers in Allah. “Moderate” Muslims choose to ignore them, and follow its good points. But by their support of the religion, and their numbers,  they are part of the supporting resources mentioned.

God want all of us to come to repentance. However, when Muslims bow before Jesus Christ on Judgement Day, they should  remember that they were warned by the Koran, in Surah 14:22, ” Satan  will [then] say, ‘God gave you a true promise. [In the Bible] I too made promises [In the Koran] but they were false ones: I had no power over you except to call you, and you responded to my call,  so do not blame me blame yourselves. I cannot help you, nor can you help me. I reject the way you associated  me with God before. For wrongdoers there must be a Grievous Penalty.” 

Only if they were genuinely repentant, which means turning from Islam, should they be allowed to return return to face whatever punishment they deserve.

 

Left Wing Media Bias

“There are problems with multiculturalism and it’s about time our politicians had the guts to mention some of them,” wrote the new ABC chairman Ita Buttrose back in 1988. Maybe Ita  could be just the person we need  to remove  the obvious Left wing bias from  our national broadcaster, with its constant promotion of the evil of multiculturalism.

The Christchurch terrorism once again revealed that the ABC believes that only those with “green” Left views should be allowed to comment, but anyone who had ever voiced criticism of unlimited immigration, the need for border control, or the danger  of returning jihadis, is disqualified  from expressing their conservative views.

This bias has long been noticeable in  almost every terrorist attack, where the ABC  refuses to accept any connection between the suggestion of Islam, and the attack, until film emerges  of black bearded  individuals  wielding guns and shouting Allahu akbar.

It is a worry that if Labour is returned in the coming Federal election, the deeply held views of many concerned  about the refusal of Islamic  immigrants to integrate into Australian society, will be classified as hate speech and criminalised. Many of us saw the uncontrolled immigration policy  of Tony Blair and George Brown in the UK with resultant riots and Sharia law, lead to a desire for Brexit, and an open debate would be infinitely preferable, to avoid  the strife and chaos which has resulted there.

Numbers15:15,  ‘The community is to have the same rules for you and for the foreigner residing among you; this is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come. You and the foreigner shall be the same before the LORD.’   Peace is not possible when foreign cultures are retained and insisted upon, especially when their religion makes very obvious violent demands.

Homophobia?

 

As we have seen with the Australian Prime Minister complaining to the Turkish President because of his broad condemnation of Australians, when the terrorist act in Christchurch New Zealand was committed by just one extreme individual, so we must beware  of  condemnation of the vast majority when tiny minorities accuse the majority of racism or sexism, to their own advantage, one of the goals of evil political correctness.

That is exactly what has been happening in countries such as Australia and the latest example, Britain, where parents have joined together to protest the indoctrination of their youngsters by the teaching of the so called equal validity of gay and transgender relationships. In this case, a very small minority with perverse practices accuse the majority of hatred when they complain that those practices are being inflicted  upon their children in their primary schools.

It is logical and sensible for parents to discriminate  between those perverse lifestyles which God  condemns, and those who are drawn into such lifestyles. We can hate the sin, but love the sinner.  So, for example, Jesus Christ told the woman caught in the act of adultery to go, and sin no more, when the Pharisees would have stoned her.

Let us therefor stand up and condemn the conflation of the hatred of the act  with the presumed hatred  of the majority. It is a politically correct lie designed to  push the agenda of, in this case, the rainbow brigade, whose plan it is to criminalise both. The real victims would be truth, justice and morality, and especially freedom of speech!

Isaiah 59:15   ‘Truth is missing, and whoever turns from evil makes himself prey. The LORD looked and was offended that there was no justice.’

Isaiah 29:21   ‘Those who, with their speech, accuse a person of wrongdoing, who set a trap for the one mediating at the city gate and without cause deprive the righteous of justice.’

Celibacy

I have noticed a vast increase in the number of people visiting this site from Mexico and South America, and wonder if it has anything to do with the child abuse problems and natural disappointment in the Roman Catholic Church regarding its leaders such as Cardinal George Pell.

People do wonder why this problem has been so prevalent in the RC Church and suspicion  has fallen upon  the celibacy of its priests, which was unknown in the early Christian Church and only introduced in the 12th century.

It may even have been prophesied in 1 Timothy 4:3.  ‘They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth.’ NIV

The RC Church bases its authority on its Popes who are claimed to descend  from St Peter, who they claim to be the first Pope of Rome,  but we find that first Pope may well be mentioned in the Bible – but he was not Simon Peter the Apostle of Christ.  Acts 8:9-11, ‘Now for some time a man named Simon had practiced sorcery in the city and amazed all the people of Samaria. He boasted that he was someone great, and all the people, both high and low, gave him their attention and exclaimed, “This man is rightly called the Great Power of God.” They followed him because he had amazed them for a long time with his sorcery. ‘ NIV.     Acts 8:18-23, ‘And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost. But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God. Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee. For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.’

The reason Luke  describes the intention of this man is the profound effect he would have on God’s Church in Asia Minor, Greece and Rome.  Lange’s Commentary says  Peter here was uttering a prophecy by the Holy Spirit. He was telling what this Simon was to become:  “Peter’s words literally mean: ‘I regard you as a man who whose influence will be like that of bitter gall [poison] and a bond of unrighteousness [lawlessness]….He meant that Simon would be responsible for the introduction of pagan beliefs and idolatry into Christianity. Read Deuteronomy 29:16-18 to understand this figure of speech.

Yes, he was called Simon, but he was a priest of the Babylonian mystery religion, where Semiramis was the original “Queen of Heaven”, who invented the idea of celibacy  for her priests. It didn’t last long then because it was so unnatural, and its results are so evil, as we have seen.

Christ’s Apostle Peter was never the Bishop of Rome. The early Church historians had difficulty in separating Simon Peter the apostle and Simon Petor ( the opener or interpreter of the Babylonian mysteries) also know as Simon Magus.

The ‘New Scaff- Herzog Encyclopaedia of Religious Knowledge’ states , ‘The 25 year episcopate of Peter at Rome is evidently due to the statement of Justin Martyr regarding the labor of Simon Magus at Rome.

In Rome, Magus bewitched the inhabitants with his magical (demoniac) powers. It is said that he could levitate and fly, but in the end he was killed crashing back to earth.

However his powers  had impressed many and it was easy for his followers to claim that he sat in Peter’s chair, for the church which became the RC Church had accepted the practices and symbols of the oldest pagan religion on earth! (See the book ‘The Two Babylons’ by Alexander Hyslop)

 This great worldwide church, pictured as a woman, you can read about in Revelation 17:4-6. She is the mother of all protestant churches and also of abominations to God such as Sun worship (She Changed the holy Sabbath to Sunday)  and celibacy.  ‘And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.’

Brexit

What can we say about Brexit? I’m an Aussie Brit and I’ve known for over 40 years that Britain  would leave the EU, but I’m still amazed at the chaotic mess they are in. The odds are that we will see a great backlash if the British public are finally  betrayed  by their government, and their democratic vote is trampled on.

Yet, they did make the right decision to leave, before the EU BECOMES A TOTAL DICTATORSHIP.  For years,  when I lived there, resentment  at what the ‘Common Market’ had become (which had been foisted off on Britain by a lying Edward Heath) rang all the warning bells as it gradually progressed towards that dictatorship, while Britain’s Parliament and laws were subsumed by a German led Europe.

Tragically, as I pointed out in my last blog, ‘End of the West’, this is a hole  the Brits have dug for themselves, unfortunately fulfilling God’s warnings found in Deuteronomy 28 and Leviticus 23. We can tell it is for the end time because, as you will see in Hosea 14:4 below, this last chapter concludes with Ephraim’s repentance.

So,  what happens now?  We move to the next stage, found in the Book of Hosea, which is dual prophecy largely addressed to Ephraim, the Bible’s name for the British people. (See our article ‘Who is Israel’)

Hosea 2:8   ‘ For she does not acknowledge that it was I who gave her grain, new wine and oil, who lavished her with silver and gold—which was crafted for Baal.’ BSB.     ie. Was used in the pursuit of an evil Godless culture.

Hosea 4:6-7,  ‘My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest (an example for) to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.The more they increased, the more they sinned against me; I will change their glory into shame.’  So we will see the results of Brexit.

Hosea 7:8-9  “The people of Israel mingle with godless foreigners, making themselves as worthless as a half-baked cake!

Hosea  8:7   ‘For they sow the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind. The standing grain has no heads; it shall yield no flour; if it were to yield, strangers would devour it.’

Hosea 13:16  ‘Samaria [was capital of Ephraim] shall bear her guilt, because she has rebelled against her God; they shall fall by the sword; their little ones shall be dashed in pieces, and their pregnant women ripped open.’

Hosea 14:4,7,9     ‘I will heal their apostasy; I will love them freely, for my anger has turned from them…….   They shall return [in repentance] and dwell beneath my shadow; they shall flourish like the grain; they shall blossom like the vine; their fame shall be like the wine of Lebanon…..Whoever is wise, let him understand these things; whoever is discerning, let him know them; for the ways of the LORD are right, and the upright walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them.’

This is horrific news for Britain, but it  is only part of worldwide punishment due to come upon us for our evil choices. There is no need for anyone to experience these things if they will turn from sin and live God’s way.  Sin is the breaking of God’s Laws, 1 John 3:4.

Thankfully , God will turn His anger away because of the repentance of that remnant, who will live on into a world made like Eden, in Christ’s Kingdom. See our article page 1, number 59, ‘Return to Eden’
